"Contemporary Local Narratives" is an initiative where creators from various genres stay in a local region to conduct research and produce works. Each year, artists in contemporary art, musicians, and theater practitioners are invited to engage in creative activities, and this marks the 11th edition.

The theme for this edition is "Tales of Hometown and Soil." The inspiration for this theme came from a conversation with an elderly woman selling vegetables and flowers at a Sunday street market, who mentioned, "Year by year, the vegetables don't grow as well. You can tell that the Earth and the soil have changed."

Exploring the charm of localities that may be overlooked in the pursuit of efficiency and convenience, the program focuses on the very foundation of our lives- the "soil." It aims to consider how people can live in this town, and what they can pass on to the next generation, and encourages everyone to think together, using the unique perspectives of artists. The goal is to engage in discussions about future community development.
