Children and the Absurd: Still, the World is Worth Living in "Children and Hope I: Reimagination" in Phase III

University of the Sacred Heart Building No.4 / Sacred Heart Global Plaza
Finished

Artists

Junko Kaisato, Takayuki Yamamoto, Hiroshi Kagakui
When faced with challenges like war and environmental destruction, which are not easily resolved, perhaps the imagination of "children," as showcased in this exhibition, holds the key to solving them. What is glimpsed is a human image devoid of the perspective of being faster, stronger, or having more. If this can gracefully sidestep direct confrontation and prompt a reconsideration of abundance, then it can truly be called hope.

In Phase I and Phase II, despair surrounding "children" was witnessed, but in Phase III, there is hope in the imagination of children. Even if it's just a little, it's for the sake of a more inhabitable world.
