Artists

Chieko Nakagawa, Maho Takahashi
Chieko Nakagawa specializes in a technique she calls "embroidery art," where she meticulously embroiders still-life scenes of fruits, food, ceramics, and other objects with fabric and thread, capturing the essence of the items just as they are in her home.

Maho Takahashi, based in Kanazawa, has been involved in dealing with European books and illustrated volumes as an antiquarian bookseller, introducing the value of books to many people.

At the Comet Club exhibition, the work showcased will include plant illustrations that Nakagawa has been working on, along with books from the Maho Takahashi Bookstore, providing an opportunity to explore the value of books. The exhibited works and books will also be available for purchase.
