The collection of the Chiba City Museum of Art is curated based on three collecting policies: "Works related to the Boso region with a focus on Chiba City," "Japanese paintings and prints from the early modern to modern times," and "Contemporary art from 1945 onwards."

This exhibition space sequentially introduces work that represents each collecting policy from the approximately 10,000-item collection. Exhibitions are changed approximately every month (contemporary art changes approximately every three months) as a guideline, allowing you to see highlights from the collection.
