Among the famous swords inherited from the daimyo Owari Tokugawa family, there are many swords with glorious episodes, such as having passed through the hands of several heavenly rulers and passed through warfare, or swords with auspicious episodes, such as having been given as gifts for war success or congratulatory occasions. It is fair to say that the value and importance of each sword was enhanced by these episodes. {This exhibition features swords from the Tokugawa Art Museum's collection of national treasures, important cultural properties, and famous swords that have long been renowned, as well as swords associated with famous warlords and feudal lords. {The exhibition will also feature the beauty of the swords themselves and their historical backgrounds.
