Beloved by travelers from England, Canaletto also traveled there and left behind numerous masterpieces. This exhibition, likely the first of its kind in Asia, showcases "veduta" paintings, which are detailed depictions of cities and famous landmarks, represented by his works. Visitors can also view depictions of Venice by later artists like Monet and Signac.

Access

15 minute walk from the South exit of Kenritsu Bijutsukanmae Station on the Shizuoka–Shimizu Line; From the South exit of Kusanagi Station on the JR Tokaido line, take the Shizutetsu bus and get off at Kenritsu Bijutsukanmae. The venue is 2 minute walk from there.
