Blown glass is a technique of making vessels by blowing into hot, molten glass and inflating it like a balloon. Blowing glass is a unique technique that utilizes the properties of the glass material to quickly form vessels while monitoring the temperature and condition of the glass without direct contact with it.
The advent of blown glass, which dates back to the 1st century B.C., not only revolutionized the production and distribution of glass containers but also allowed glass to take on new forms that were unique to glass.

This exhibition will showcase distinctive blown glass works from the East and West, focusing on the "techniques" of the makers who created such expressions unique to blown glass. In addition, the results of research conducted in collaboration with contemporary glassblowers and researchers will be introduced to give visitors a closer look at the ingenuity and ingenuity of glassblowers who were once unknown and unknown.
