Artists

Ayaka Tabala
Mashiko, Tochigi-based Ayaka Tabala pursues her creative activities using various materials such as ceramics, painting, and metalwork. She expresses her experiences and emerging vitality through her work, valuing the process of creating art that remains true to her inner sense of "truth." She transforms everything she perceives while alive into artwork, allowing it to circulate through her mind and body before sublimating it into as soft a form as possible.

In this exhibition, she will display ceramic objects sculpted from blocks of clay, inspired by living things, as well as a variety of colorful and diverse vessels that blend traditional and contemporary styles using glazes.
