EARTH+GALLERY is pleased to present “Spiral road,” a solo exhibition by Atsushi Adachi from November 21 to December 1. Atsushi Adachi's concept is based on “recording memories,” and using mainly paper and print media (newspapers, etc.) as materials, he creates works that embody the things in our distant memories of the past. His works have won awards at many public exhibitions, including the Taro Okamoto Award for Contemporary Art, and he has exhibited his works at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum's “Kami-gami” selection group exhibition, and has expressed himself in various ways regardless of the form of his works. This will be the first exhibition of his installation “Flame Dance,” which was exhibited at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum and attracted much attention, in the white cube space of the EARTH+GALLERY.
