Mitsumura Graphic Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of Asae Soya, who is known for her works combining light and color. Her activities span a wide range of genres, including paintings, installations, and video works in which colors and space resonate with each other.
In addition to 30 oil, pastel, and watercolor paintings, approximately 70 colored pencil drawings that represent the source of Soya's ideas will be exhibited as well. A 35-meter-long glass wall surrounding the gallery will be used for a film installation and illuminated at night to introduce Soya's versatile artwork world.
