Artists

Akira Mori
The studio moved from Tokyo to Sendai from February 2021 to April 2023. During this period, research and artwork production focused on historical and environmental events in the North Kitakami River basin. This exhibition highlights "149 Drifting Pebbles," featuring diverse stones from the riverbanks, and "Weather Observatory_Hitakami," capturing year-long observations. The artworks blend geological terms and Kenji Miyazawa's poetry, inviting viewers to contemplate the passage of time.
