Artists

Akiko Endo
Akiko Endo is one of the leading Western-style painters. From the 1970s to the present, she has pursued fundamental themes such as nature and the life cycle and energetically produced works with a deep narrative.

This exhibition will feature approximately 40 representative paintings, including the "Paradise" series that marked the beginning of Endo's creative career. This "Town" series made her famous as a painter, the "Large Paintings" series (size over 500) that she has continued to work on for over 30 years, and her latest work "Mountain Trembling," which will be exhibited in 2022. The exhibition will introduce about 40 of her paintings in transition.
