Suzueri, Before a Trace (Takako Minekawa + Takahiro Kawaguchi)
This is a collaborative exhibition between Suzueri, who creates layered sound art pieces using light and sound, such as communicating through the light of a light bulb and playing the piano using flying birds as a score, and the unit Before a Trace consisting of Takako Minekawa and Takahiro Kawaguchi.
Musician Minekawa and sound artist Kawaguchi have been accumulating acts that are not quite improvised performances or live installations, leaving vague outlines, at events such as the Awazu House residence and the Art Site Shinzushima festival. This time, they present the "after" of those traces, within Suzueri's artworks, as a quiet narrative of presence.
