Eight years have passed since the "Shunga Exhibition" was held in Tokyo in 2015 and boasted 210,000 visitors.

Under the supervision of Mitsuru Uragami of Uragami Sokyu-do, the sponsor of the "Shunga Exhibition" at the British Museum in London in 2013 and a key player in the "Shunga Exhibition" at Eiseibunko in Tokyo in 2015, this exhibition will feature approximately 50 woodblock prints, including large-format nishiki-e, hanjibon, mameban, and hand paintings of a wide variety of ukiyoe artists such as Utamaro Kitagawa, Harushio Katsukawa, Kuniyoshi Utagawa, and Kunisada Utagawa, as well as Hokusai Katsushika's "Tako and Ama" (Octopus and Divers), which was featured in both films and continues to influence a wide range of anime, film, manga, and artwork worldwide.
