Artists

Yuichiro Tamaki
Tamaki uses silkscreen to express his unique images.
Unlike paintings created with a brush, the quiet and calm appearance of his work is different from that of printing, and the movement and heat of the human body can be felt on the screen, a style that is truly unique to Yuichiro Tamaki.

Originally developed for mass production, the silkscreen technique is known today as a method of printing on T-shirts and other clothing. In recent years, Tamaki has been using this technique to create unique images on-site, far from mass production, in a performance called Live Screen Paint.

This time, on July 16, the first day of the exhibition, Tamaki will give his first performance since 2019 at the venue.
