To commemorate its reopening, the Itami City Museum of Art, History and Culture will hold an exhibition introducing 17 craft artists active mainly in the Tamba area of Hyogo Prefecture (Tamba City and Tamba Sasayama City). It will showcase a wide variety of genres, from Tamba ceramics to Tamba textiles, Ojiyama ceramics, and works by artists who have moved to the Tamba area to work. All of these artists continue to practice in spaces shifting between tradition and innovation. Enjoy their colorful works.
