Satoru Noda
Set in Hokkaido and Sakhalin in the late 1800s, “Golden Kamuy” is a popular manga by artist Satoru Noda. This large-scale exhibition highlights the adventure, history, culture, cuisine, and hunting described in the tale. It features over 120 illustrations as well as many related displays, such as folk tools that appear in the work. There will also be a space where visitors can also immerse themselves in the dynamics between characters and relive their journeys. Experience the world of Golden Kamuy, an internationally acclaimed, award-winning story described as a Japanese-style Western. The exhibition is scheduled to tour to Kyoto and Fukuoka after Tokyo.

* To prevent the spread of COVID-19, reservations are required for visits during the Golden Week holidays (April 28–May 8) and on Saturdays, Sundays, and other national holidays. Please purchase "weekday tickets" for weekday visits on and after May 9 (Mon). For details, please see the official website.
