Various textures can be found in paintings and three-dimensional works created by brushes and fingers. This exhibition features works from the recently acquired and restored collections. Paintings and sculptures by 11 artists, including Minoru Kawabata (1911-2001), Takashi Tanaka (1921-2014), Gyoji Nomiyama (1920- ), and Isamu Wakabayashi (1936-2003), will be on display.
Also featured is Makoto Nakao (1937-2019), who had a studio in Kitakamakura from 1964 until his later years and created his own unique world of paintings inspired by the poetry of Paul Czeran (1920-1970).
