Jiro Taniguchi is a manga artist who leaves a deep impression on readers by spinning a profound story sometimes lyrically and sometimes humorously with detailed drawing and composition. His outstanding skills and artistry are highly evaluated in the world, and it is known that there are many enthusiastic fans, especially in France.
Kyoto International Manga Museum is pleased to announce an exhibition of original paintings by Jiro Taniguchi in the summer of 2022. By observing each of the beautiful screens that you will be fascinated by in the original pictures, detailed drawings with a pen, layer and scrape screen tones, and use vivid and gentle colors rooted in natural colors. You can feel that it is the trajectory of the soul of one artist, which is made up of.
