From the Warring States Period to the Edo Period, armor developed uniquely as a symbol of a samurai's pride and strength in battle. The aesthetics of maki-e, metalwork, braiding, and other craft skills and innovative designs, as well as the functionality and engineering development as protective gear. Through video by Rhizomatiks, which digitally analyzes the details and structure, and spatial design by Nile Koetting, which flexibly connects armor to the reality of the modern human body, armor begins to speak to people today.
