The war between Minamoto and Taira in the late Heian period was told in "The Tale of Heiji" and "The Tale of Heike", and was popular theme in artworks. In this exhibition we will display various works, including a fine copy of the dispersed "The Battle of Rokuhara", as well as a fragment of the original work from a private collection, making a comparison between the two possible for the visitors.
