Hachi & Seizo Tashima Museum of Picture Book Art
Finished

With the modernization of our lives and agriculture, many of the creatures that once dwelled on the mountainsides have disappeared. The Hachi & Seizo Tashima Museum of Picture Book Art created a biotope in 2014 as a place for some of these small creatures to return, and in 2018, a stream added. From 2021, the museum will expand the scope of its "spatial picture book" concept to the outdoors. The project will be fully revealed at the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2022.
