This is the second exhibition of “On Ko Chi Shin," a project that has introduced more than 100 artists in various locations in Japan and abroad since 2010, at the Mitsukoshi Department Store in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
This exhibition will showcase the work of 15 artists who have developed contemporary expressions in diverse genres based on traditional techniques and materials unique to the Japanese. This exhibition presents the possibility of the creation of new values by artists who continue to refine the essence of their own expression through tireless study, even in these days of uncertainty.
