Artists

Jirokichi Kasaki et al.
Meiji painters proudly displayed the natural splendor and tenderness of the Japanese heart to foreign countries. The "paintings" brought back by travelers to Japan were the very essence of Japan's freshness.
The collection of "Japan" scattered abroad, collected by one collector over half a lifetime, will be exhibited for the first time in Tokyo following the exhibition in Kyoto. This exhibition follows the popular "Welcome Back Beautiful Meiji” exhibition.
