Hideaki Anno’s latest film, “Shin Evangelion the Movie,” for which he was the general director, became a huge hit that surpassed 10 billion yen at the box office, and it continues to improve records. This exhibition will cover Anno's activity from his years as an animator, director, and producer to his latest works, and will seek to unravel the secret of Anno's creative activities. Valuable original drawings and miniatures of "anime" and "tokusatsu" that became the starting point of his career, will be on display along with scripts, storyboards, image sketches, layouts, and original drawings, as well as various production materials, that are indispensable in his creating his own visual images.
