The "heliotrope," which gave the exhibition its name, is a measuring instrument invented by Carl Friedrich Gauss in the early 19th century. It reflects sunlight to indicate a target point, which is then used as a signal. In this exhibition, three artists explore events that can be measured and grasped using their works as a base point.
