This exhibition marks 100 years since Roy Chapman Andrews (1884-1960) from the American Museum of Natural History organized a large research expedition to the Gobi Desert in 1922. This exhibition introduces the results of the "Central Asia Expedition," an essential expedition in the history of paleontology. It also introduces and explores the "Out of Tibet" theory of mammalian evolution during the Ice Age, which was proposed by paleontologists greatly influenced by Andrews. Life-size skeletons of dinosaurs and mammals are on display as well.
