Through the multilayered "eyes" of those who visited the Tohoku region between the 1930s and 1945 and paid attention to the architecture and daily necessities of the region - architect Bruno Taut, Muneyoshi Yanagi, who developed the folk art movement, Charlotte Perriand, who was invited by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Takeo Takei, who collected local toys, Wajiro Kon, the founder of kogaku, his brother Junzo Kon, and Chu Yoshii, who led the exhibition of the Tohoku Living Art Study Group - the power of activities that still live in the Tohoku region is examined again.
