Akio Suzuki & Hiromi Miyakita Performance "Nami no Utsushi
The performance "Nami no Utsushi" by sound artist Akio Suzuki and dancer/artist Hiromi Miyakita is a return to nature of the rhythm of Nishikigaura that the two experienced during their stay at Acao Art Residence in the summer of 2021. Last year, a torrential rain disaster occurred during this performance, and the performance had to be canceled in the middle of the event. The performance will be re-staged in a slightly different form, while remembering what happened then. The performance will be a physical assimilation of the vibrations of the day, woven with perforated stones collected from the Nishikigaura beach and four flat stones as well. The performance will last approximately 40 minutes, including transportation.
Dates: May 3 (Tuesday, national holiday) and 4 (Wednesday, national holiday), each day from 14:00
Admission: Admission fee + 1000 yen (available only through Peatix)
