Artists

Verdy
Verdy, a Japanese graphic artist, has his roots in Punk, Skate, and Harajuku culture. Since 2007, he has been working as part of VK Design Works, and has since taken on a number of projects including collaborations and two brands of his own to date, “Girls Don’t Cry” and “Wasted Youth.”

The graphics created by Verdy are enthusiastically supported by devoted fans. His original characters, most notably Vick, have become iconic, appearing not only in his own projects and works but also in various collaborative projects.

This exhibition will feature Verdy’s new paintings, as well as his first attempt at three-dimensional work. From shaped canvas paintings of the original character Vick to paintings of Visty produced by Kaikai Kiki’s studio, visitors will be able to fully appreciate Verdy's vivid worldview.
