UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Special Exhibition: The World of Traditional Performing Arts

This exhibition will present the traditional performing arts (Kabuki, Bunraku, Noh and Kyogen, Gagaku, Kumi-odori), listed in UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list, and will introduce the unique beauty and the techniques, that support each of the performances. In each gallery the visitors will be able to get on the stage, which will be installed in order to convey the real on-stage experience, and the costumes, tools and musical instruments used in the actual performances, will be on display.
