Hiroko Otake
A new exhibition of new works by contemporary Japanese painter Hiroko Otake, who has been working widely in Japan and abroad using foil and mineral pigments to create new expressions.

Otake is is active internationally in Tokyo, Paris, and New York, working with a deep knowledge of classical Japanese art and the use of mineral pigments and foils. She has collaborated with a wide range of players in the fashion world, including grand maisons of jewelry, as well as with Scandinavian furniture brands and food companies. She takes traditional Japanese painting themes such as butterflies and flowers and uses them in a contemporary context.

This exhibition, entitled "Invisible Things,” will feature works ranging from colorful, spectacularly large pieces that capture the movement of natural life ,to small 20-cm square works suitable for decorating a room.
