Tomohiro Higashikage
The 31st “Form in Art” exhibition will feature work by Tomohiro Higashikage, an artist living in Hyogo Prefecture. After graduation, Higashikage has been actively creating mainly three-dimensional work. In his work, such as animal heads, skin, pores, and body hair are expressed in an extremely elaborate manner. On the other hand, the elaborate depiction is sometimes accompanied by the expression of the corroded skin and the body inside and combined with the expression of the jet-black eyes of the animals, it brings deep insight to the viewer.

Higashikage says that the creation of his works is an accumulation of his own physical and tactile experiences. This exhibition was originally scheduled to be held in 2020, but due to the effects of COVID-19, it has been postponed for about a year.
