This exhibition is a project-based exhibition in which 13 directors and 13 groups of craft artists and producers team up to create new products from the perspective of how to create necessary and lovable tools for daily life.

Looking back on the history of modern design and craft, the 1940s, 50s and 60s, a time of population growth and rising living standards, can be said to be a time when craftspeople responded to the demands of the times by creating products in terms of quantity and quality.

Crafts and design interacted with each other to create production methods that were adapted to society. The relationship between craft and design during this period was creative and resulted in the creation of excellent craft and design products that would later be known as masterpieces. This exhibition was conceived in imitation of the craftsmanship of this era.

In this exhibition, the 13 directors come up with ideas of what they want and would like to use. At first glance, this may sound like a hobby, but in today’s diverse lifestyles, it is the most honest way to find a basis for production.

The next step is to combine design with handicraft production, or to team up with different characters to create a different perspective. The products created in this way will be exhibited along with the ideas and production notes from the development process. This is a process-oriented product creation by excellent designers, cultural leaders, craft artists, and craftsmen.
