Noboru Koura + Shigeki Kuroda + Horoshi Maekawa “Sukebei”

The Artcomplex Center of Tokyo
Finished

Artists

Noboru Koura, Shigeki Kuroda, Hiroshi Maekawa
The public face and the private face. As it is said that there are two sides to every person, there are also times when various sides of an artist can be caught in his work. Noboru Koura draws an original world with beautiful gradations of blue, red, and green and precise lines. Shigeki Kuroda uses specific shapes to express the flow of time and space. Hiroshi Maekawa depicts the flow of the times and mental patterns through the sometimes cute and sometimes bewitching images of young girls.

It has been more than 40 years since these three artists began showing their copper engraving work.
