RHESS (Yu Kushima + Ryoji Suzuki)
Qwerty presents “Rhess,” the creative project of illustrator Yu Kushima and graphic artist Ryoji Suzuki. Both graduates of Tohoku University of Art & Design, they have been working together since 2015. In December of that year they held “Qwerty Tokyo,” an all-night exhibition and music event. This year under the title “Rhess” they published “Rhess Artbook” combining their photography and illustrations. They also released the cassette tape “Astra” featuring songs and art pieces. This event spotlights their creativity over the past year as Rhess, including their illustrations, large works, and new pieces.
