Nishi-Sugamo Arts Factory
Finished

Artists

Mikiko Endo, Shigeki Nakano, Mirai Mizue, Akiko Yonehara
Since opening in 2004, Nishi-Sugamo Arts Factory has provided a place for artists to create while developing numerous art projects along with them at the site of a former school building. Asking “How can the factory serve as a place that encourages artistic expression as creative methods and environments steadily change?,” the third Arts Factory symposium features three artists who have supported the venue’s most notable projects. The talk looks at the space’s successes, challenges, and future through the lens of international art activities.
