Noboru Owada “Blinks IV - From the Digital Labyrinth to Circulating Actions”

ART Lab Tokyo/A.S.K.
Finished

Artists

Noboru Owada
Throughout his practice Noboru Owada has continued to focus upon blinks and ways of ‘seeing’, as collated in photography, video and installations of self-referential devices. One may draw various parallels between his work and ‘The Bride Stripped Bare by Her Bachelors, Even’ by Marcel Duchamp, as well as the works of James Joyce and Raymond Roussel, which he has admired since he was a high school student. Yet, while some may see this as an experiment in ideas, Owada is faces this problem earnestly attempting to place his finger upon the answers.
