One step removed from reality, Hiroko Sato’s works form their own separate worlds. Art For Thought presents around 20 of her oil paintings featuring powerful animals, including one of a nearly life-sized lion. These works display a unique gaze in which viewers do not look at the animals so much as the animals look at them.
