Toshiaki Tomita
New series of recent works, "Ash and Cheeks", inspired by two dreams of the taste of food – ashes and cheeks –that left him with a long lasting impression in the summer of 2009. The project has traveled from various places such as Israel, Okinawa, Hawaii, and California as he explores the mystery of ashes and cheeks. This is the first solo exhibition of these new works.
