Ryozo Tsumaki
After completing the MA program at Musashino Art University, Ryozo Tsumaki (b. 1974) has been exhibiting his work widely, while also working as a Shin Buddhist monk.

At the group exhibition "Labyrinth II" (Meguro Art Museum, Tokyo, 2007), which featured various artists who have chosen pencils as their primary medium, Tsumaki's distinctive work stood out the most. Also, his solo exhibition at Musashino Art University last year was very well received.

In this exhibition entitled "Kyokei" (literally meaning "border landscape"), nine new works including pencil drawings on circular paper are on display.
