"An Evening with Denis Polge" Event

Institut français du Japon - Tokyo
Finished

Artists

Denis Polge
Denis Polge lives and works in Paris, creating paintings using oil, tempera and graphite. His works exhibited at Chanel Nexus Hall this spring, "Still Water: Shore and Beach," evoke a poetic universe featuring the rivers of the Provence of his youth depicted in various media - watercolor, gouache and ink - as well as variations in the textures of the paper. Born in Grasse, France in 1972, Polge graduated from the Ecole Superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris. For the past ten years he has pursued a highly personal practice, cut off from artistic trends and fashions. His painting is an exploration of nature and landscape.

During this event, Polge will be signing copies of his work "Autre Rives" (Editions Le Promeneur, 2009).
