The fist movie produced by Takashi Murakami's art company Kaikai Kiki is a short movie, "Nobody Dies," directed by Mr., a spirited artist internationally known for works evolved from his fetishes for manga, anime, and idols. A team of junior high school girls put on their combat uniforms and become warriors in a survival game. This movie captures the adolescent sentiments of these girls, surviving the war and the everyday. Following releases in London, Paris, and New York, the movie will finally be on view in Japan. Mr.'s astonishing, vividly colored visual work is a must see!
