Saeko Takagi's first solo exhibition in Tokyo will be held at Gotanda Sonic from January 23rd through February 1st.
"Vivid and gentle light. There, humans, animals and plants all blend in and intermingle with each other. There is no border between them. At the same time, we cannot look away from the impenetrable gazes of the denizens of Takagi's world. While happiness saturates her pictorial surface, it is also suffused with strength."
Takagi is designing her exhibition in a way that allows her to fully utilize the versatile space of Gotanda Sonic. She is now working on a series of new works that will be on view at this Tokyo show. This traveling exhibition will then move on to New York and Taipei.
