"16 Hour Museum" Event

Super Deluxe
Finished
Closing event -Museum is over, if you want it!
One week on, AIT will launch a limited edition, free self-published Journal at SuperDeluxe, containing texts, drawings and contents from the lectures and activities of March 17th, held at Hillside Terrace.

Over eight hours the environment of Super Deluxe will slowly transform with video screenings by David Blandy, Second Planet and Saki Satom, an ongoing live publication performance by Swamp Publication, artists installations, a new performance by artist Tadasu Takamine and a special Sunday afternoon set by the very capable and versatile DJ Duck Rock (Tokyo). It will be relaxing and lounge-like, with various programmed moments of wonderment and edification.

16 hour Museum is an experimental vision of what a museum could be like, curated and organized by the non profit arts collective, AIT. Over two weekends in two sites, art works, video screenings, lectures and performances will be presented. 16 Hour Museum takes as its starting point the issue of how contemporary can generate different kinds of knowledge and what the role of the art museum could be within this.

For more details, please see the Super Deluxe or AIT homepages.
