Aardman Exhibition

Ghibli Museum, Mitaka
Finished
The most recent Wallace & Gromit film "The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" won the award for best animation at the 78th Academy Awards. Studio Aardman is the English team behind the making of this work. Using "claymation" Aardman makes many outstanding TV commercials, short films and feature length films using clay figures, and they are loved not only in England but all over the world.
This exhibition will introduce the spirit of Aardman by presenting works and episodes from when Aardman began, and introductions to how the works are made, the techniques used, and the figures that are actually used in the filming.
