This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Great Kanto Earthquake. Sojinkan Sugimura, a journalist for the Tokyo Asahi Shimbun newspaper, was one of those who lost many things in the disaster. This exhibition introduces how Sugimura and other people of the time overcame the disaster and lived through it, along with other valuable materials.
