Gallery in The Ginza, Shimbashi area

Located in the center of Ginza's gallery area, the Galerie Nichido has introduced numerous artists and their works from its first days with the hope to contribute to the prosperity of the arts, and celebrates its 70th anniversary this year. With its branches in Paris, Fukuoka and Nagoya, it is active in organizing about a hundred of solo and group exhibitions a year, as well as exhibitions of important works from its extensive stock. It handles several hundred artists in painting, sculpture and print, Japanese and foreign, Iate and contemporary. The gallery widely reflects the contemporary art scenes and can accommodate to the customers' needs. It is also involved in art publishing. The Kasama Nichido Museum of Art in the hometown of the Hasegawa family, Kasama-city (Ibaraki pref.) was founded 25 years ago and holds a permanent collection of national and foreign masterworks and painters' palettes. It also organizes special exhibitions several times a year.
