The Taro Okamoto Museum of Art mainly collects and preserves the works of Taro Okamoto, and his parents Kanoko and Ippei.
Exhibitions will be held to encourage the questioning of accepted ideas and create new possibilities in art. Also lectures and workshops will be held on related fields. The museum will also support the creative activities of the citizens in the hope of contributing to and enhancing the richness in their lifestyles and the developement of their cultural background.
