Yokohama Museum Of Art features the work of artists associated with Yokohama, surrealist works, and a vast photography collection.
The museum continuously expands its collection, which totals over 6,000 pieces ranging from the 19th century to the present age. Yokohama Museum of Art holds exhibitions of this collection throughout the year, as well as planned exhibitions four times a year to different themes. The facilities include an atelier, art library, and terminals offering art information. They also sporadically hold concerts to provide enjoyment through other forms of art.
